This was probably mentioned before, but I need to be absolutely sure. Are we being judged only on screenshots, or also on walking around in game? This is important cause my ideas are much more screenshot oriented...

Walking around. We frown with large angry frowns on people who vote by screenshot.

Having a harsh cutoff at the edge of the allowed area is acceptable and shouldn't hurt your entry, obviously, since that's an imposed problem.

Yes it's okay, and I can't get any particles working actually.

I have two scenes I've made/making. One of which is basicly a pond that hasnt been touched for a couple of years, and it's also based off a real old pond near my house. The second is a random area with someones little shack in the middle of the water. The first is more of a swamp, the second is more of a lake...

Do we need to download the swamp theme update? It says that one of the water textures was moved so if some people have it and others don't will they be pink and black?

It's recommended as it is a bug patch.

I've been working on a completely different idea for the past day. I'm trying to mix the swamp theme with the mining/tf2 theme. So far it looks good but for some reason the buttress trees turn out either black or almost black. I think this is a light issue. Does anybody know what to do?
