I've worked with many Source pipes, including the abominable Half-Life 2 pipe props. All I can say is, these are the best pipe props I've ever used. Easy to align. No alt+dragging required. Nothing finicky to worry about. These pipes are truly beautiful, and I am incredibly thankful for them. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
