zythetop - top because its high up, don't get any ideas.

a Spytechy, vaguely Yukon themed Special Delivery map with a few Level Design ideas to "improve" SD
  • gamemode has not been edited, the rocket elevator is the same, the flag return mechanics are the same.
    • i believe, that valve with their infinite resources, must have tested this game-mode a lot back in the day, and the settings chosen worked best for...

didnt expect to be sending a message in this place again, but

zythe and i talked about this. i'm 100% cool with this map coexisting with barnside (formerly macherocketbarn)

to whoever reads this, keep in mind just how often maps take inspiration from each other! it's a major part of the creative process. nothing wrong with zythe taking inspiration from my map, especially give that...yknow...i've been away from this community and practically never updated anything of mine for literal years now, makes sense for someone else to then make a map that may potentially carry the torch of my map if i never end up finishing it

a2 - update

whats new?
  • added various (experimental) jump-pads around the map
    • 1 at the cliff that launches players onto the rocket
    • 2 at the drop site that launches players onto the catwalk
  • redid routing into the drop site
    - a new route leads onto the high-ground
  • added new ramp near the rocket spawn exit, for a bit of high-ground and a sniper spot
  • adjusted some health/ammo pack positions
  • improved clipping
