Basicly, it's Harvest, but in medieval.

    Ye Olde Harveste - Basicly, it's Harvest, but in medieval.

    So, I was working in Hammer one day and I opened decompiled version of Harvest, to check something for my map. Then, I started to change some textures (I'm not actually sure why) and I though "Damn, this looks really good!". And it ended up as this, the medieval version of well known Harvest.

    It maybe wasn't something really hard or challenging, but really fun to do. I changed some things, like made the roofs not so destroyed or added some fire for huntsman snoipahs and other minor changes.

    Well, judging from the screenshots, it looks exactly like regular harvest, except with two extra buildings for decoration. So I downloaded the map and well...

    You've got missing textures. Whatever that beam texture is, it's not packed.

    Also this window is not transparent, yet there's stuff behind it.

    Overall, it looks exactly like harvest. A map reskin is more than just changing textures. For intance, you added all of these buildings out of bounds, and I wish there were more of them because that's what makes the map feel different from the regular harvest. 20170524013058_1.jpg
    However, here you put nodraw in very visible places. I could stand on the sniper shack and see them.

    Also you've got weird area portal glitches everywhere. The props keep randomly disappearing. Maybe there's a leak in the map? idk.

    Even do it is basicslly a reskin of harvest it looks really cool but maybe add some extra things in the map

    Who says it's the 10th century? Like Degroot Keep, maybe it's just a medieval town that was built long ago but still used today. (Or 1970's)

    Yeah, now it's starting to look more like a reskin. Though I must mention there's already a harvest_event.

    It never was supposed to be a _event map. In the v1 I just kinda screw some things and that's why it wasn't medieval mode and there were not packed textures.

    - packed stuff (dunno if it really was a thing tho)
    - 3d skybox stuff
    - no more floating trees (we're safe)

    So... I was trying to make update as fast as possible, but after three monts all I have is this (this version was made like two months ago, so it's pretty lame that i publish it just now). Hopefully it won't take yet another three months to (finally) publish v3.
