Why would he need to think attributes anyway?
Valve is one that makes the attributes for contributed items, they don't often take creators suggestions on stats unless they are really good.

Also, get download up Super, i want to use this.

It doesn't hurt to try, but he shouldn't really use time he can use to polish model to think "It could do this, or that"
The usual scenario is anyway that it just gets shot down and they go with their own ideas.

My intention was for it to be used with the gunslinger- setting up bases rapidly, including dispensers and tele's.

Simplest solution would be to have it not stack with any wrench. A nastier one would be to make it reduce melee damage further.

It's kinda a moot point anyway, since the buildings rebuild time is based on their animations.

Hmm... Jag boosts building speed by +50% or something.
Says 30% on the weapon, but it's closer to ~16% in reality. In more useful numbers it decreases build time by ~1 sec (+/- 0.5s, depends on building).

I takes like 10 seconds to think of some good stats relavent to the item in question. Hardly a waste of his precious time.

Anyone can come up with bunch of stats, but ones that work ingame well and impress valve enough to add them is whole different matter, there is tons of different suggestions for weapons all over Steam Forums and other places, yet it has only happen twice in TF2's history, if making idea that Valve actually decides to make weapon is 10 seconds matter, how come it has happen so few times?

Look at Swordfish idea, on paper it sounds good and doesn't take much time to come up with those stats, but when we start combining it with different weapons, the item might be too good. There is a lot of different variables in this game, building good weapon in your head that is balanced is not that simple, and by the end of the day, Valve probably won't like it.

He can try, but it is better put focus on making the model.

i can think of some absolutly retarded and very bad names right away, that are overused and this and that.
but i think it should include 'claw'.
just because it looks like a claw.

I like it Ayes. Should call it the working man. A coat is really too much to wear during a hard day on the job.

I've modelled it after a gambling theme though... >_>
