Don't really know if I feel like continuing with this or not, I feel like the route the cart goes is just one big choke point.

Maybe make it so that you don't have to drop straight down to get to the cart and that you can't run back straight up to get to the spawn. Maybe push the cart forward a bit and make a ramp going down the end.

I remember a time when they said modeling your own house in hammer was about the worst start you could get in mapping due to major scaling problems. It was still known as worldcraft back then, though.

It's only confusing in Hammer, not sure I care enough.

I modeled my old work place in Hammer using the L4D set-up. Filled it full of zombies & pretended to shoot all my co-workers! The scale in L4D is different mind. It was a project for me to learn Hammer though & served no practical purpose except for fun.

It does need work. Try mimicking existing company logos. Have you ever seen one boxed up like that?
