While I love the detailing you've done, I really recommend testing the map sometime.
I've been testing it with bots, but I'd be really happy to have it tested with actual players.

I don't have any way to host servers though...

At the end/start of the match it should play this:


Right now I got round start music from Snowplow playing in setup.

Don't take feedback from bots, ever. They're dumb and could steer your map in the wrong direction.

I know they are dumb af. I enjoy watching them suffer when navigating my map and try with determination to kill themselves on electric fence of the raptor pit.

They are a decent way of pinpointing chokey areas tho.

Thanks for linking that thread. I'll finish detailing that one area (I want to nail the visual style of the jungle theme so that I can do the rest of the map rather quickly) and I'll submit the map for one of the testing events. I should also make a separate thread for my map I guess.

Come to think of it this map would be a fine submission for Asymmetry contest thingie, once it's done that is.

Well didn't get much time today but the 3rd point is done now, I will add more halloween props once I finish the last point :3

It looks kinda weird having the wooden walls retextured as stone but still being as thin as wood walls. It looks like even the interior of some parts is still wood, you might want to change that.

Well, at least he's putting some effort into this version, unlike that one Upward reskin thats topping the Workshop this week.

That one just has some haloween props slapped on top and has lighting changed.

If the plan is to reskin the whole middle building as a haunted castle of some kind, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Actually, that's a good question: Why hasn't there been an official Halloween map that takes place in a haunted castle a la Frankenstein yet? They already have a lot of assets for it.

interior obviously still needs some work but exterior is decent so far.

strange structure on the wall in the interior will eventually be blue forward spawn, but i havent worked on it much yet.

I like without better. You can leave a few sheets on (just make sure to use different models) or make some brush metal panels.
