Sorry to say, but who the fuck would like to watch someone else mapping live?
I mean, no extra comments on common problems, special things you do. That is just boring

    Then don't watch :p
Some of the guys watching seem to be enjoying it so far.

Re participant max: the limit is set at 5 and I cant see a way to change it, if you can't get in try again in 20 minutes or so.

It wouldn't hurt to record 'em, especially if you can't have more than a few viewers. Worst case, you can delete them after your thirty days are up. Best case, you've got something interesting on record.

Also, if someone wants to know how to do something they can ask and I can show them live rather than describing it and everyone getting confused.

Just a few of the things people have watched me do today:

Actually the last one was interesting, I put the light_spot inside the light fixture, behind the mesh and then I turned on the fancy compiling commands and turned down the lightmap scale, even though the light was inside the prop's collision mesh, this was the result:

Live eh? There's ustream if you want to record the screencast (you need something like SuperWebcam or WebCamMx to do so). Ren did this exact thing many months back.

Bah, man. Well, there's a lot of people here but, uh. Watching some1 mapping is the same as asking question imo. I mean you're saying "i'm noob, I can't map, plz help me!!!111oneone". I just can't fall that far. Yes, you can ignore that and ask questions not minding u're a noob in some way, but I prefer googling, reading, searching before I ask one.

Well, good luck there learning from Youme-masta. [IMG] :p

There's nothing wrong with asking questions. Even the pro's can learn off each other; normally things you wont read in any old article too.

Fixed. you're way below asking questions.
