also is the lifesnatcher a reference to a movie? the entire setting on this map feels like i've seen it in a movie before

the cable is bugged because i scaled up the model, will be fixed next version hopefully, mentioned that in the patch notes iirc?

the maps aesthetic and robot are heavily inspired by the movie 9 so thats probably why!

whats new?
  • implemented updated animations
  • implemented various particle effects
  • implemented various sound effects
  • implemented various new models and textures
  • updated flag to have unique model for each class, to better fit on each of them
  • extended unlock time from 30 seconds to 45 seconds (mainly because of the long into time)
  • added announcer "warning" voice line when the intro starts
  • increased time between crit buffs when holding the device from 4 seconds...

As said during the initial playtests, the gamemode concept is simply amazing. Aesthetics are all around cool, and the lifesnatcher itself invokes a fear in me I can't quite describe. Plus you're saying the concept was inspired by 9? I watched that movie a lot as a kid, so that's a super cool throwback. Either way, can't wait to see where the map will go from here!
