THE EXPEDITION - An April Fools Gameday

WELCOME GAMERS! I may have retired, but that doesn't mean the spirit of April Fools doesn't run inside me! It's like an awful curse. A hex even! But enough of the talk, what's this about?

It's April Fools! A time to celebrate and play a bunch of joke maps, new and old! It's become a yearly tradition for TF2Maps, and I'm more than happy to continue upkeeping it.

To submit a map, send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE on either the forums or on discord with your map. This does not need to be yours, but keep in mind that new maps will be prioritized over old ones.

That's all you need to know for this section! Let's get onto...

April 1st, 2021. 2PM EDT (7PM UTC) - Convert to your time zone here.

1. Standard rules apply to all maps submitted and to all players playing. If you're being a fool, you'll be removed.

2. Maps with notably heavy visual effects (flashing or otherwise rapid lights/visuals) should be properly marked both when you submit your map and in your map. If you're unsure, ask around.

3. Maps using point_servercommands should be run by both Staff and Startacker before submitting.

4. Submission cutoff is Midnight, April 1st, UTC​

A reminder that the submission cutoff period is April 1st in UTC. If you have a playable (and mostly proud of) entry that you're not sure you'll get 100% done by the cutoff, send what you have and then work on the rest! Or of course, talk to me and we'll figure something out.

Additionally, and while I don't anticipate it, please include a note with your entry if it includes copywritten music. Twitch and Youtube will be brutal about this and I wish to avoid the potential headaches. Valve's soundtracks have been mostly free game to use though, and the HL2/TF2 soundtrack are even included in TF2. Thanks!

Wondering if you could clarify the gameday start time - the banner says 12pm edt but the 'when and where' section says 2pm edt?
