For those of you who are working on your maps or finishing them up, or maybe even just starting them, and are wondering "man, should I make a video trailer for this map?" ... I'll gladly spoil the answer for you. It is yes. We encourage you to make a trailer for you map. Additionally, if your trailer is of a high enough quality (as decided by tf2m staff), and if you so choose, we will upload the trailer to the TF2M official Youtube channel. Please keep your trailers below 3 minutes.

Also, I'm looking for judges for this contest. Please PM me on the forums (not on steam, I will lose them!) saying that you are interested. In the subject line of the forum PM, please say something to the effect of "I'm interested in being a judge for the Dynamic CP contest!" ... something so that when I go through the conversations later, I can easily find those interested.

Does it count if the map IS A MOVIE! (kinda sorta in a sence technicly)

As long as the video you make of the map is less than 3 minutes, fine by me.

The mode appears primarily CTF so no. The requirement is that it's "CP enough" that's it's logical to give it the cp_ prefix.

Okay, so I just make 3CP map and later add version of map with that gameplay, I asked, it's cp

Do people need maybe 2 more days to submit? I realize the 72hr may have held some people back/screwed up schedules.

I will be okay with a 2 day extension. HOWEVER, I will not give a grace period and what you submit is what you get.

I'd say yes or even a day. Its gonna be really messy with them so close together

Okay put it this way: who could do a significantly better thing, or have their map "finished" in a couple more days?

I think it would be fair to offer that chance to people who want to submit their 72h map, if they are going to stand a chance, they need all the time they can get. In my case however, I don't want any of it, I'm so done.

Crunch time in general is not healthy

To be fair, this announcement has been there for a while now.

Yes, it is, so I am a little miffed that some people have suggested an extension because of 72hr. If it's needed, I'll allow an extension, but if someone goes "I need time because of the 72hr contest" and only that, I will be less likely. Everyone's known about this for quite some time, so the 72hr is a very weak excuse.

However, if you have another reason like "My computer died" or "I have been working on another project for crunch time" i will hear those and be more receptive to the reasoning and thus, of an extension. Please PM me if you need an extension.

Pyrodevil and I are in crunch time with cp_blizzard. We've been doing quite well, but we're just nearly there. Midterms threw off my mapping schedule in particular. Anything's appreciated to a great extent.
