I guess the obvious thing to say is you'll wanna spend a moment turning a number of your detial prop shadows off.

Now i've stated something you probably already knew, you might wanna update your OP images.

Why would I turn shadows off? A full, proper vrad compile will make nice shadows instead of ugly ones.

But then I'd have to go back and turn shadows on for everything when I do a compile for release... it's just not worth the effort to make some quick progress shots look barely any better.

I wouldn't have thought selecting all the prop_static's from the entity report and turning the shadows on for your last compile would have been a lot of effort, but ok. I guess it bothers me more than it does you.

BUMP I think nines done mapping for his RIFT career.

I have the vmf for a4 which is for the most part done layoutwise

just need detailing on blues side

red side is completely finished from what i can tell

i want to see this map finished since the layout is pretty unique and I can get extensive playtesting on it

anyone with enough free time who enjoys detailing and thinks they can replicate nine's style msg me on steam

Always on the map, but I have some aesthetics problems with the waterfall and his river.

I'll let you judge and if you have any ideas I'm interested.

I love how the splashes down the rocks look, but you probably don't need any in the tunnel given its architecture. It does look distracting in such a small space.
