I wouldn't want HAARP in game unless it was converted to CP. A/D CTF is what TFC was and that was because it was a mod; when Valve made TF2, they updated the A/D CTF system and turned it into CP. I really wish people would just accept that and move on and stop making A/D CTF, period.

I'm glad you still like haarp, but yeah A/D CTF is wacky and I wouldn't expect it to go official. Unfortunately it would be a lot of work to convert haarp to CP without it sucking.

How so? Unless you don't have the files anymore just making them normal capture points with, whatever, 9s cap time would totally be worth trying I thought

Well, many of the points are basically in closets to make it harder to get intel into them... I am imagine they wouldn't play so well in regular CP without a little revamping.

I dunno, Badlands last isn't really much bigger either. As long as the capture time is relatively short it should be fine

Badlands last is also... last. Almost every point in HAARP is tiny and closed in (1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 3-1, leaving only 1-1 and 3-2 as ones that aren't in a closet but still cramped). Badlands last also caps very quickly; the difficulty is in getting there, not necessarily standing on the point (a great example and case for fighting around the point rather than on it). I don't see that kind of gameplay being interesting on 2/3 of the points in a 3 stage map.
