Week 4, day 1:

Set 1: 21 - comparatively easy to most of the other sets, but i still had to push a bit
Set 2: 25 - pretty tough, im kind of disheartened by how hard these still are
Set 3: 21 - again, tough. nothing like last session, but still hard
Set 4: 21 - toughie again
Set 5 (max): 24 - wow that fucking sucked.

Well this day was discouraging. Did less pushups and felt sorer even after the weekend break. There's no fucking way I'm gonna get to 100.

Week 4, day 2:

Set 1: 25 - oh my god. my first glimpse of success, blew through these with no trouble. first time for that.
Set 2: 29 - wow, pushed a bit harder but still pretty easy. feels good!
Set 3: 25 - definitely much harder than the last 2, felt like a normal set again.
Set 4: 25 - ok these were really hard lol
Set 5 (max): 25 - yeah really hard got damn

today was pretty nice. reencouraged with this program. i had music playing in the background, probably helped out.

Total: 129. (+9 from previous max)

Week 4, day 3:

Set 1: 29 - another easy set, enjoying this!
Set 2: 33 - de_stroyed
Set 3: 29 - last few were kinda difficult, but largely an easy one
Set 4: 29 - finally a hard one, still not too bad though
Set 5 (max): 40 - boy I FEEL GOOD

Well seems to working out now. This session has a 120 second break instead of 90, that helps a lot.

Total: 160. (+31 from last session)

Accidentally skipped yesterday, I'll just alter my schedule to Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for this week and then back on schedule for next week, the 6th and final one! Seems like I'm the only one still doing this.

Week 5, day 1:

Set 1: 36 - yeah this was hard. gonna be another one of those days. and only 60 second breaks. fuck.
Set 2: 40 - shit yeah this sucks. took several mini-breaks in this set.
Set 3: 30 - yup, horrible. easier than 40 but still shitty.
Set 4: 24 - god i feel bad taking mini-breaks but there's no way im cranking out 24 in one go at this point.
Set 5 (max): 21 - jesus christ this sucks im supposed to be hitting 40 again.

I was pretty well daunted going into this session looking at the first 2 sets of 36 and 40. And it sucked just as bad as I thought. Went backwards again. That seems to be a trend coming out of weekends to start the week again.

Total: 151. (-9 from last session)

Week 5, day 2:

Set 1: 19 - pretty easy, only 19 so it better be.
Set 2: 19 - blew through this one pretty well.
Set 3: 22 - motored it.
Set 4: 22 - harder than the last one but still no mini-breaks.
Set 5: 18 - easy, slowed down a bit in the last couple but not bad.
Set 6: 18 - aint nuttin to it.
Set 7: 22 - pretty difficult at the end, curious to see what my max will be.
Set 8 (max): 30 - all of these were much harder than the others, really felt em in my abs.

8 sets and only 45 second breaks were daunting to look at, but it wasn't too bad. I was hoping I could push myself a lot harder on the last set, but it just wasn't there at that point.

Total: 170. (+10 from previous max)

Week 5, day 3:

Set 1: 20 - easy.
Set 2: 20 - bit harder, still easy.
Set 3: 24 - easy.
Set 4: 24 - harder, still not bad.
Set 5: 20 - yup, kinda hard.
Set 6: 20 - had to push this one a bit, futures not looking bright for the rest.
Set 7: 22 - tried to breathe better this set, sometimes i hold my breath. helps a bit.
Set 8 (max): 40 - damn that one was hard. tried to go through as many as possible before a mini-break, did 30, which is pretty good for me.

8 sets and 45 second breaks again. killer. took a 1:30 break for the max.

Total: 190. (+20 from previous max)

Week 6, day 1:

Set 1: 45 - no breaks! all the way through, 5 over my max, which was with 2 or 3 minibreaks, and no breaks! progress.
Set 2: 55 - accidentally took a 2 minute break and i still had to take like 4 minibreaks to reach 55. fucking sucked. nvm about the progress thing.
Set 3: 35 - yeah took like 3 minibreaks for these. this blows.
Set 4: 30 - i did this one with no breaks but i took like 2 minutes and 20 between this and the last set. fuck me.
Set 5 (max): 40 - little bit less than 2 minute break, took 1 minibreak but i dont think i dipped far enough at the end.

this week i will definitely be repeating. this session has been the only one so far that i didnt REALLY complete, took lots of minibreaks and double the time in between sets as recommended. at least i did 45 to start.

Total: 205. (+15 from previous max)

Week 6, day 2:

Set 1: 22 - piece of cake, better be.
Set 2: 22 - easy.
Set 3: 30 - breathed better this set, still easy. breathing is kinda key to keeping up the pace.
Set 4: 30 - still pretty easy, gotta keep that breathing up.
Set 5: 24 - just keep breathing just keep breathing
Set 6: 24 - still pretty easy, this is going well.
Set 7: 18 - not bad, not bad at all.
Set 8: 18 - getting difficult to keep regular breathing, kinda gets erratic.
Set 9: (max): 50 - pushed hard and kept that breathing up, thats seems to be the secret.

did this workout at 9:30 at night so I was a bit beat, but I still managed my most successful workout thanks to regular breathing. That really helps, if anyone is still doing this make sure to take deep breaths as you do your reps.

Total: 238. (+33 from previous max)

You made me look bad the first couple of days! You really should keep at it Crash, it's worth it.

Week 6, day 3:

Set 1: 26 - even though i breathed properly, still seemed a bit hard
Set 2: 26 - my shoulders kinda hurt doing these, feels like im putting a lot of pressure on them
Set 3: 33 - i think i had my hands too close to my body, made my stance a bit wider and its more concentrated on my chest now
Set 4: 33 - pretty difficult, my angle may be too wide now
Set 5: 26 - yup these are getting really fucking hard again, no breaks so far though
Set 6: 26 - just gotta keep breathing and pushing
Set 7: 22 - PUUUUSH
Set 8: 22 - kinda helps to go a bit slower sometimes instead of throwing your arms into lock after each rep to go fast
Set 9: (max): 40 - lol site says you should be doing 60 fuuuuck thaaat

well this was apparently it. last week. 45 second breaks and a fuckton of pushups and now i should be able to do 100. theres no way in hell, but ill give it a shot this sunday.

Forgot to post, but I did my exhaustion test on Sunday. Not too happy with the results, but not surprised either. Managed 70.

I'll be repeating week 6 as long as it takes for me to hit 100, probably at least 4 more weeks of week 6.

So, restarting week 6 again today, let's see how this goes.

Week 6, day 1:

Set 1: 45 - pretty ok, felt a bit tired but it is 9:30 and I haven't done pushups in 5 days.
Set 2: 55 - no breaks, my shoulders hurt.
Set 3: 35 - still no breaks, but im really feeling these.
Set 4: 30 - no breaks, but my shoulders really do hurt. strange
Set 5 (max): 32 - 1 mini break, but my form is way better than last time and i didnt take extended breaks.

i kinda missed doing this the past 5 days, but then again i really fucking didnt. i may not have done more from last day 1 of week 6, but they were a hell of a lot better in terms of form.

Total: 197. (-8 from previous week 6, day 1)

Set 2: 22 - pretty good, not quite as easy as before
Set 3: 30 - breathing is a virtue
Set 4: 30 - really hard to keep from holding your breath, still truckin doe
Set 5: 24 - getting a bit more difficult
Set 6: 24 - PUUUUSH MRS YORK
Set 7: 18 - alright piece of cake flew through this one
Set 8: 18 - de_stroyed_a2
Set 9: (max): 50 - hammered em home

went pretty well, i may not have dipped correctly in the last couple sets cause they were pretty easy. about the same as last week in terms of difficulty i think.
