i got problems with water

ive looked up tutorials for making water, but it has not surface texture. i can jump around in it and make water noices, if i shoot it the water splashes, but i cant SEE the water.

Do you have any more water in the area at a different height? Multiple levels of expensive water can cause the water to flicker between expensive and cheap rendering.

Do this happen if you use a different water texture?

Is your water on just the top part of that brush, with nodraw on every-other-side, or is it on all sides of the brush?

Also do you have a water_lod_control

VBSP adds a water_lod_control for him if it is missing and he has any water faces.
