Thank you for asking that TC question. The answer honestly made me laugh a bit "If the mappers feel like it". I didn't realize they worked on separate map projects for the game.

I'm sure it's a dream for a lot of us to work at Valve making maps. Be an awesome job for sure.

They sited the source as SPUF rather than tf2maps though which is a shame..

This is probably the first time anybody has done something like this, but I get the feeling that more people will want to from now on. Never have we understood how Valve works as well as we do now! It's also cool that you got to talk to GabeN and Robin Walker, and it's nice to know how Robin thinks of the game as it has developed into something different than he envisioned. Thank you TPG!
