  • moved the computer boxes for a bit
  • added a cover near first spawn at final point
  • extended the cover vertically on the lobby near last so players can't stand on it
  • adjusted some doors on last lobby
  • detailed the spawn room exteriors

  • some texture changes
  • changed some nodraws to textures
  • adjusted cap times
  • optimizations

Beta 1 is finally out, obviously there will still be detailing to be added or changed in the next betas

  • added OOB skybox
  • added soundscapes
  • added one way indicator on one of the forward spawn
  • more detailing especially in the last area's interior and exterior
  • adjusted lightings
  • removed some props
  • extended mid platform ledges
  • patched perch spots
  • moved some medium health so they won't be that close to other medium health
  • other miscellaneous fixes

  • widen up a lot of doorways
  • adjusted last cap time from 2.3 to 2.1 seconds
  • added ramp to make it less awkward going to the mini flank
  • closed some routes; the lower level of the "mid building" and the small connector on the "main choke" and "fast building"
  • adjusted pickup quantity and quality, especially ammo packs
  • adjusted skybox to give way for smoother explosive jumping
  • changed some textures
  • added small cover at the "basement" route, also widen up the entrance...

mostly bug fixes and some smaller tweaks

  • smooth clipping all doors
  • more clips on other areas for a smoother flow
  • patched some perch spots
  • patched some hidden sticky spots
  • adjusted some overlays and textures
  • adjusted displacement on mid, and small adjusted of the displacement in 2nd
  • subtle adjustments of geometry on some parts of the map

BETA SEVEN

Mid is overhaul/revamped, a lot of changes to address the issues of the gameplay as well making it not cramped to play anymore. mid changes includes:

  • adjusted height of the platform at mid
  • added a connector at the building to mid (the concrete one)
  • changed the building at mid, and adjusted its design (the metal one)
  • generally added a lot of easy access to high ground
  • added props and a shack to served as micro high ground
  • adjusted health pack locations accordingly...

idk if this is just bots being stupid, but i've seen them getting locked in to their most forward spawn. presumably after they lose control of the opposing team's second.

Oh that's just the nav_mesh not manually edited. I do have to edit the nav_mesh manually to fix that. It's often a thing in bots to do that even in other maps I reckon

no, i've fixed the mesh myself - there are a lot of cases on 5cp maps especially where spawn doors get totally blocked off for some reason. easy enough to fix with the DOOR_NEVER_BLOCKS mesh attribute. what i mean is presumably there were bots respawning at the same moment they lost the 4th point and were then locked in their spawn. like i said idk if it's just them being stupid; they don't understand that you have to walk away from a door and back towards it to open it again, so it might just be that.

probably that's the case. although currently red mid forward spawn is broken so that might also be part of the problem? but it's mostly bots being stupid at this point.
