Hey, I wanted to make some changes to cp_badlands but unfortunately compiling the decompiled vmd of cp_badlands gives me weird lighting and shadows that don't look like Badland's.
I even compiled using VBCT on Final mode but it didn't help.
So, I read somewhere that there is sdk_cp_badlands, the same way csgo gives you sdk_de_dust2. Does anybody have this?

This is just badlands decompiled with vmex.
It has broken area portals and is missing overlays.

For future reference, all of the SDK content shipped or downloaded with Source games has its own folder in your steamapps directory, "sourcesdk_content". You can find SDK stuff for Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Portal, TF2 etc. in there. sdk_cp_badlands is one of them.

This requires that you first download the actual Source SDK. The one you're not supposed to use anymore. But once you have downloaded it (from the Steam tools list), they sdk map files will be there.

That is true, but if you want access to all those SDK goodies you need it installed. It's nice to have.
