I don't think there's a way you can put the wall-with-a-hole-in-it prop next to the matching brush and get the lighting to match, unfortunately. In Sawmill they didn't even try.

Another update:
I mostly just adjusted lighting, but there are also more props, more fun and less mess

This next room needs a major lighting revamp; in general it is too dark, however the side room is so bright I fear anyone stepping into the room would become sterile. I refuse to remove the desk.

Heres an area seen only by close friends. Don't ask grazr about it though. He'll rant about oil being unable to form or some rabble. On a side note, does anyone know how to make the fog "blend" with the skybox to make the skybox whiter?

Changing the fog is out of the question; it causes the "fade in effect" seen in the refinery behind B. I guess making a custom skybox is my only option. Anyone have any advice on that?

Actually you might be able to cheat by making a skycard texture that fades from the fog color at the bottom to clear at the top, and then making a brush ring around the 3D skybox that uses that texture.

The tap rack wouldn't really be pushed up next to that computer like that: you'd never be able to access those tap reels! (Unless there's some perspective illusion going on)

Also, chairs like to sit at tables.

Is that a spawn room or an inaccessible room for the purpose of decoration?

If it's a spawn room, I'd say it looks like it would be terribly easily spawn-camped as you could see people approaching the door.
However if it's a decoration, then I'd say it looks very nice.

It's decoration. Have you seen the valvebase version? There is originally no door there.

It looks like the previously discussed decoration room is way too bright. You also get minus one cookie for using two godrays from a single light. Don't do it. :)

What the hell is a godray? And those lights were copied straight from doublecross for ease of use. Though I suppose you will give me a -2 cookies for that lack of effort. >_<

Thanks Khuntza. I removed the ones directly besides the wall shortly after I uploaded that shot last week. I agree it looked bad.

S'yeah,
I finally got around to doing something with B itself.

It's supposed to feel "under construction": It has missing tiles, panels and exposed beams. The roof is also 'temporary' (game wise; its staying as it is.), with temporary construction lights. Even the huge pipe is suspended ominously above the point, waiting to be winched into place.
