I'm sorry to necro this post, but I did some testing, and this model only loads up a map with new changed to the map when it is a prop_dynamic. I am 100% sure that I used the V2 version.
I tested by compiling the prop as a prop_static, prop_dynamic and also for shits and giggles as a prop_physics (although I knew it wouldn't work). Every time I compiled the different prop types I did it on hammer's default compile and also compilepal's compile.
I'm guessing you made the prop do something only a prop_dynamic could do by default.
Id love to have this model working as a prop_static, hope this helps you fix it (if you can even be bothered to at this point).
