I'm not sure if I should add a building here or just to leave it an open pathway. Either way, both options should have some sort of building or else it'd be boring. But I'm really not sure what to do here.
Possibly put some height variation with the displacements, then you might not need to put a building.
Do you mean as in a balcony short of displacement or a sort of hill? If you could draw what kind of height variation you mean, I'd really appreciate it.
You can really do anything you like, but one idea is to lower the ground around the corner, and have a small 'cliff' on one side. (Idea in black, arrows point in the direction of higher ground) You could also raise the ground, but just be aware of the sight line this may introduce (marked in red)
I can't quite see what's in the alley around the corner, so change this all you want to suit the surroundings.
A map I started on yesterday, pl_meadow. Does anyone know how to get rid of the gun while taking screenshots?

Hey sunshine a1 middle whats up dudeI started making a 5CP last night, and here's middle so far. I need to add pickups, and then I'll plow through connectors to second. It's going to be a somewhat new style for TF2 and I'm making it an experimental 5CP. Hopefully, I can make a map and models during the 72HR Jam to help decorate this.
Sorry the shadows don't look too great. I compiled and ran it with Delta and forgot to tweak the settings.
