Wilson: that map looks great. I'm.. very impressed with that map.. shame you didn't you didn't build cubemaps yet :D that map looks lovely.

Grim: the map looks fine to me :D the antena building looks awesome too but the waterfall is ugly there.. try to make a house there like water treatment facility. something like that and that control point which is near to the river or sea should have more ways to leave the room

Some very basic groundwork detailing for my 3cp map. As of yet, unnamed.

aw yea mappin

I've been working on a new Attack/Defend CTF map set in Egypt. RED has a drilling operation deep within some hallowed tombs. BLU has obtained documents detailing how to shut down the drills, and has tasked its mercenaries with bringing the documents to the hidden RED base to shut it down. However, a pharaoh's ghost is very displeased with all the hubbub disturbing its eternal rest! Or at least it will be, when I figure out how to put a ghost in properly! And then eventually model a pharaoh's headdress onto it to replace the gibus! Yep! But hopefully all of that will be soon.

I still need a name for this if anyone can think of a good one!

(Don't worry I know what cubemaps are, I just haven't bothered compiling them yet)

You told me I could order the moon, babe
Just as long as I shoot what I want

Practice model. 99% chance of this not leaving this stage.

BUT AT LEAST I'M GETTING BETTER.

First mockup of the middle point of my Gravelpit themed 5CP map:

It'll be focused on competitive play, with one of the keys aspects being that it easy to run performance wise.

Was tough figuring out how to make a symmetrical mid tower, but I think I've found the best way.

I already removed that cylinder thing in the middle, imagine that not being there.

Da Man: I've been noticing this lately, a lot of people are putting huge level defining props and elements BELOW the plane of game play. No player is ever going to see your huge awesome drill! Move it up, get it up above where the players fight, make them fight around it and under it! Let them see what they're fighting over.

Stink, although I agree with you in this point, I think that sometimes enormous props can still be effective lower down. For example, think of the Doomsday device in Scoville. Is it noticible? Yes. Is it lower than the playing area? Yes.
