We've slaved over it. We've missed sleep, meals, and loved ones for it. We've been up countless hours perfecting it. And now, finally, we've put it aside for a few minutes to slap together this update.

So here it is, folks: a Team Fortress 2 100% guaranteed Hatless Update! Now if you'll excuse us, we'd like to get back to our years-long quest to design the ultimate hat. "For the game?" you ask. Uhhh, sure. Now pass those sequins.

Really disappointed with the melee nerf. Lot of folks in Beta said they hated it... yet it still went in. :\

Aaaaaand they actually went through with the Backburner changes, making the standard flamethrower virtually useless by comparison. (And this after I named and described my standard flamethrower too.)

The dynamic model loading sounds cool, though. That's a pretty significant engine upgrade, actually. I wonder if it's something they developed for Portal 2 and decided to backport. I'm also surprised they didn't make it an engine-wide change; every game can benefit from this.

Texture tinting in DX8 mode is pretty cool too. Isn't this also used to goldify the one metal roof in Mann Manor?

Wow awesome! Most comprehensive balance changes to TF2 in recent memory.

The bots and training stuff is exciting to me, I'm thinking of doing a payload next.

I don't mind the backburner changes. You're a moron if you're using the BACKburner to reflect anyways. Not to mention the ammo drain.

But holy shit am I getting major glitches though. Sound cuts in and out, bots aren't responsive, and still no connection to the cloud.

EDIT: Also, Who needs to play indie games anyways.

I dont like the Backburner having an air-blast because now if a pyro un-successfuly sneaks on a Soldier or something, he can air blast them away and high tail it.

EDIT: Anyone know what this means, exactly? "Improved the Medic overheal effect so it's more noticeable"

Flamethrower was useless before bud. Literally no reason.

Backburner buff is simply there to make sure you can get out of those incredibly shitty spots you can get yourself into. It's not really as scary as....

The Flare Buff.
