So apparently, the "Meet the Spy" video has been leaked

The spy could have been Italian, Spanish or French before the Meet the Spy. He says "Amigo" in one of his sounds, which is spanish, he also says "Prego" which is italian.

He's very clearly French now. :thumbdown:

He says the line about "his little cauliflower" in French, and on the Update Day 4 page, there's plenty of references to France. Baccarat is French, and there's a Canadian saying "Zut alors" by the Camera Beard, which is French.

You're overanalyzing it. Spies aren't going to be able to slide electrosappers after the update either.

Hate the censor bleep. I mean, it was mostly for comedic purposes with Meet the Demoman, but it's kind of "in the way" for Meet the Spy.

Valve isn't really one to drop F-Bombs, either. Sure, there's been hints at it, like the FOAD sign in Meet the Sniper, and just barely out-of-range, distorted F-Bombs, such as Barney saying, from atop the rubble "And if you see Doctor Breen, tell him I said 'Fuck you!'", which can be heard crystal clear in the SDK.
