A map of mine is using the a/d ctf gamemode, so to help out players, I want to use a popup like this that explains the gamemode:
^ I've been able to get it working using the gravelpit gamemode, but I've had no luck getting the message to fire in a/d ctf. The message never appears. At the moment, my gamemode entities are set up like in the picture below. (I got this setup from Jonah's a/d ctf prefab.)
The outputs shown in window are fired from the logic_auto to the tf_gamerules. These two entities weren't a part of the original setup and only really exist to make the message appear. The two are actually copied directly from boojum's gravelpit prefab, although the messages are different.
Right now my guess is that the "OnMultiNewRound" output doesn't work with the gamemode entities I have right now, meaning that it never actually fires. But I could just be doing this totally wrong! Is there a better way to do this?
