Mappers with maps in the game, where does your map take place?

I want to build a list of where each tf2 map takes place, and asking the mappers directly seems way easier then macgyvering some way to find out myself.

if you mean in real life locations, most valve made maps take place in new mexico, due to lore, and my map also will be there!
