Is it possible to have a fully working merasmus?

When you add merasmus to spawn in a map, he will only function like the HHH, running around and attacking people, attempting to hide when his health reaches 10%/50% of its maximum. Even with a boss_nav_prefer set up, merasmus will not spawn props in the area or teleport around and give players bomb heads.
Is there any way to make it so this occurs?
(also the section where he throws bombs everywhere, though I have heard this is not able to be replicated)

It is possible these days. I did manage to get it fully working in one of my maps, spreading bombs and hiding as well as giving bombheads. There is no special trick, just that the area where it is needs to be big enough for the bomb spread to work as well as have the dance and target entities on place that even koth_lakeside_event uses. You also need working nav along with the preferred one.

Care to explain further? I have all the entities required and the nav_prefer area is definitely large enough. By working nav, do you mean it has to be included in the hammer file? Or will nav_generate in-game do

By working nav i mean having actual nav alongside the marked one for meramus preferred movement. To test it out fully, you need more players on the server than just you. If you have all the entities, you should be good to go.
