The poster for it, by the way, includes the silhouettes of the three male survivors from L4D1-- no sign of Zoey. Perhaps she's the one who died?

The survivors' silhouettes on the posters change all the time if I've understood it correctly, so clearly there isn't one specific survivor who died.

Yeah, there are four versions of the picture, each missing another survivor. Valve is kidding us again.

This update could probably make me buy l4d2, depending what the price for the weekend deal will be (there will sure be one)

As far as i'm aware you actually get to chose who dies. Unless that was yet another rumour surrounding the release of one of Valve's games.

I have to disagree. All possibly scenarios are listed here with the poster that has been showing up on the blog.

If anyone were to certainly kick the bucket, it have to be Francis. We might not know that until the comic, if that is even explained then.

And like the soldier/demo thing, it will involve ridiculously large numbers of players commiting suicide repeatedly. That promo's awesome, but why is the animation on rochelle so choppy?

It's set in stone (and it always was), that one character would die, not a random one. Good its my least favourite one

I just played through the passing, and it's not quite as I expected. It's a good campaign, and lends itself to some good gameplay. The scavenge finale seemed to work better than dead centre, mainly because you actually had to go searching for the cans. The whole gimmick of the l4d1 suvivors helping out was kinda taken out, as it ended up being a few extra bullets coming from a balcony. I would have really liked having an extra 3 survivors on the ground helping us out, and valve said at one point that there would be a romance between 2 characters. The fallen survivor is nice, though he seems to have an absurd amount of health at times. One time in particular I was being healed by coach while one ran away after taking an entire spas-12 clip from 2-3 metres away. The crescendo in the wedding was confusing, but the M60 was fun. In my particular playthrough I found explosive ammo next to an M60. It seemed kinda cruel.
