Frankenstein's castle - Halloween-themed Upward reskin.

A little bit of backstory.
Frankenstein's castle(TM) was built by an unspecified member of the Frankenstein family on top of ancient indian burial ground back in 1876 in Darmstadt,Germany.Some wondered how an indian burial ground got into germany,but the Frankenseins told them to ask indians themselves.After years of experiments and hundereds of sins against nature,the owner of the castle achieved the goal he had in mind when building the place - he brought a person back from the dead.Unfortunately,his triumph was short-lived.The cursed dead indians who inhabited the aforementioned indian burial ground and who's souls were used for to resurrect that dead person weren't very happy with their neighbour's actions after a trial at the local court,Frankenstein was sentenced to death on an electric chair and was buried in a crypt near the castle he built.Eventually everyone forgot about the whole thing and the place was abandoned ever since...
Fast forward to the modern days,October of the year 1972.RED found out about Frankenstein's shenanigans and had a brilliant idea to resurrect Redmond Mann and get their jobs back.Upon entering the castle,they found out a giant broken Resurrector(TM) and decided to repair it.Little did they know,that the BLU team found out about this whole thing too,albeit a few days later.After some [non-]violent negotiations with REDs,they took more drastic mesures.
They forcefully took the Frankenstein Guest House(TM) out of RED's possetion,made a base there,brought Blutarch's corpse there and eventually,on October 31st,1972,on the same day that RED has finished repairing the Resurrector(TM),BLU attacked the castle,pushing Blutarch's corpse up the hill.Will they bring their leader back to life,or will RED prevent them from doing that?

Map's features:
-Complete visual overhaul of pl_upward!
-A few gameplay changes from the original Upward


-Indian curses!
The dead idians aren't very happy with the whole "using their souls to resurrect Redmond or Blutarch" thing,so they
decided to attack both teams in a form of hordes of skeletons.Beware!
-German magic!
Our Frankenstein friend was as much of a mad scientist as he was a mad wizard.Some of his old magic books can
still be found near the castle.(PS:German magic is pretty much indestinguishable from normal magic)
-Indian Hell!
The Resurrector(TM) draws his power directly from the Indian Hell the cursed indian souls inhabit.If one is brave
enough,he can jump to a portal leading there and...do whatever I guess.
-One Giant Dancing Skeleton!

Special thanks to the guys that made the Mayann textures and stairs used in the Indian Hell.

Some parts of the map need to be brightened up, like near point A. Also, you need a navmesh to make the skeletons move. Otherwise, looks awesome!

I generated navmesh 2 times...
Nothing ever works for me for some reason.
The navmesh isn't packed into the map upon generation, it's stored as a separate .nav file. You can find it in the same folder as the .bsp for the map. You'll either have to use a packing program to pack the .nav into the .bsp or upload a .zip with the .bsp and .nav together.

Well,I already repacked the map...so I guess it's too late for that.
Gonna have to recompile the map.

Looks good although one issue is the lighting outside is dark in some bits and in general the lighting could be better.

People,thanks for the feedback,but can you specify where the lighting is too dark please?
Run around the map in thirdperson mode (enable cheats, then use the command "thirdperson"). Make sure you can clearly see what team and class you are at all times and when in any main area, make sure you can also easily see the ground, walls, and other geometry so you can tell where to go. Brighten up any areas where visibility is difficult.

This looks great. I love seeing reskins where someone actually puts in effort to redesign the map, and doesn't just change textures, slap some pumpkins down and call it a day.

The final point though, I'd be very surprised if every game doesn't end with BLU stopped dead as they try to push into RED having a ring of sentries on that platform.

I really like how you completely rethemed Upward and i have to say i am impressed with the work you did.
i have a few words to say about the map though.
the map obviously needs some better lighting like eveyone said so yea do that :D
second of all i believe that Point C should have some touches around and you know an atmoshere of going into a castle if you know what i mean.
Lastly i want to see better detailing to some areas. keep it simple though,try to have the performance of the map second or third priority so everyone can play and enjoy the map.

thats all i got to say about the map, its the best halloween version of upward i have ever seen and i really look forward to playing it!

Thanks for genuine critisism,Basil,but I ran around the map in third person hundreds of times and found only one,maybe two places where I needed to put more lighting.I know it seems that the map is too dark,but I really don't think this way.If you judged it only by screenshots,please download the map and run around it yourself.If you still think that it's too dark,I'll give in and brighten up the light_environment in the next update.
