Does "reason for deletion" even do anything?

Do staff.. read these and approve or something?
Is it to get away with spamming the delete thingy?

It shows on the vbot website, and the reason why they have it is because, some people think their map has been deleted for no reason, so in the notes, It would say "Map Tested" or something. Unless your talking about something else.

I'm also talking about deleting posts and profile posts. Does it also go to the vbot?

Reason for deletion is just for staff to see when something is deleted. That way there is some context when something disappears, if needed.

Alot of forums have a reason for deletion window, actually.

I wonder if people just fill it out with random shit tbh
