So recently I had an assignment to make a character in 3D.
The theme ended up being TF2 :thumbup1:

so this is what I made

The Commando

Wow that's awesome, but the eyes look very creepy.

Tenth class confirmed :)

Also, what modeler did you make this in? I'd be interested in knowing.

Holy fuck ass! That is some purty good modeling there! I'd be interested in perhaps getting a version that we could port into SFM and such

Very impressive. I wish I were able to model like you. I predict your skills will be in high demand.

thanks everyone.

And to think, this is only the 3rd character I've ever made in 3d.

Im looking to getting it into SFM, I want to fix up the rig and make some blend shapes for it before hand.

Yeah, the model itself is great, I think the TEXTURES is where this falls a bit flat.

I'm no photoshop expert, but I could try my hand at bumping it up a bit.
But I would PROBABLY ask someone with more experience (uncuepa is really good at this kinda thing, but he's busy with his own projects, so IDK)

A lot of the texture quality is lost with the shaders that i have on the screen shots.
Ive also gone back and touched them up a bit, so it should bring out more of the details that are in them.

I'll probably we working on and off with this while I do other work that I have to do.

Im thinking of re rigging as well before I but this up for others to use.
