Filesize has nothing to do with framerates. The reason this is 90MB is purely due to custom content (especially sounds, they take up 70MB of 300MB map size before repacking it).

Crap framerate is due to 2 reasons:
1. Me being trash at optimizing anything
2.The ammount of detail in the map

Running around the map was an amazing experience. Everything was so... right, with how you created the world. I especially, especially liked the continuity between stages, as well as the crane on a train ending. Since I was alone, I died with the cart and couldn't experience the ending in all its glory, but wow, it was fantastic. Unfortunately I have not gotten to play the map with other players, so I cannot comment on gameplay. There were a few inconsistencies with props that I noticed, like a fluorescent tube light with multiple light sources, and a floating door motor, but it really was a blast experiencing the environment. Thank you for publishing this map.

I don't know if it's just me but the lighting is basically fullbright and just looks plain wierd. I find the detailing all over the place, I can see where you want it to be but right now it's alot of mixed textures, props etc. There also apear to be alot of sightlines, I can imagine in this state a good sniper could quite easy shut down basically the entire map.

Looks also fullbright to me on workshop and Spring is correct, some of the sightlines are just too far and they also bring down the framerate at certain parts of the map. Look into simplifying some of the areas. They are quite complex to navigate through. I mean, you can find the route but it's not that obvious where exactly to go or is certain spot really usefull in terms of gameplay.

There are no silly sightlines anymore (not that i know of, with 23 alphas and 5 betas i managed to get rid of most of them).

As for lighting - yeah its not great (Borneo lighting setup sucks) but Borneo treecards look like ass in any other lighting. I got plans to rework lighting and replace most Mayann pack foliage in the future.

Your map is looking fullbright because you compiled it with HDR lighting only. For the players who playing without HDR, map looks fullbright. Use "-both" command to vrad.exe to compile with LDR and HDR lighting.

Maybe that's not a technical problem, but Borneo lighting washing any colors out, though? Might be both, but I played the map w/o HDR enabled and it was not fullbright.

Just FYI, we saw almost immediate crashes on this map when played on a full (32 player) server. Looks like the old "too many entitiy's" crash.

Just watched Jurassic Park, and I have to appreciate the length of detail that went into this map. The portrayal of the park is incredible, down to the details like the raptor paddock and and dinosaur crates. Looking back on this it was a spectacular map and deserves praise for its spectacular design.

Looked into this, it appears the map has 1619 edicts used of 2048 max by default. Generally these should be kept under 1400 to not get crashes on full 32 slot servers. These are a problem because a lot of entities are created while game is in progress and they can easily fluctuate up to 400-500 in a servers where there is lots of action at the same time such as rockets flying, sentries build, them firing, people having unusual effects, different cosmetics, etc. All these count to the total count.
