The first few releases I made were pretty bad. It was early 2007. I had become a member of my first gaming community based on HL2DM: Phoneburnia. I didn't know what func_detail was, leaks were a foreign concept, and visuals were primitive. But by God they were played a lot.
The first was for a zombie server hosted by Phoneburnia. Basically various npcs would spawn around the map and you would kill them, rummaging around for weapons, ammo, and health. This map was z_office_tower.

The second was for another server in Phoneburnia. This server had a mod where you could both build things like in Garry's Mod and play the standard deathmatch. I made the first map suited for this server mod where it featured both a deathmatch area and a build area. The deathmatch area was taken from the previous office tower map. pb_lobby is probably the most played map I made as it was used frequently on the build/deathmatch server.
