A few days ago I got the Scout's Bonk! helmet. But, because I was so used to deleting all the useless Kritzkriegs and Flare Guns and shit, I deleted that too. Only seconds after I had hit "Yeah, delete it" did I realize what I had done.

Heh, I almost deleted my spy's fedora that way. I checked tf2items.net and I saw that I had gotten nothing the night before, then a friend of mine asked me to sit in on a comp scrim. I joined, played a bit, and eventually got killed. I was quickly spamming the "delete" key when suddenly... fedora! Close call.
