Trying to experiment with lighting.
I really like the look of the sun being cast from behind the rooftops, but I feel like the RED bases should have the fronts lit, with BLU's in shadow, to work with the brightness and ambience.
Also the sunlight's supposed to cut through the corner. I can't tell which is better.

Thanks for the feedback on my previous picture. I have reduced the number of fluorescent lamps and changed from using point_spot to using a func_brush using world space glow with a gradient texture. On an unrelated point, Here's a bit of a cave in the same map.

Also it turns out that I really like making 3D skyboxes. I like trying to make it feel like there is actually a world outside of the playspace.

EDIT: I'll also probably release a KotH version as well, even though it probably won't play all that well.

I took a fair bit of inspiration from the early badlands concepts. I think it's going pretty good, probably gonna make a blu version soon.

Buildings could use some beams and maybe a sign here and there.

Also a skybox would be pretty dandy, but I imagine you've got that planned already

Assuming the sides of the hole are separate displacements surfaces from the flat ground, you should texture them with a darker earth texture (one of the ground* textures) or a dusty rock texture.
I also think those raised buildings on the side with the grain conveyor belt between them could have supports beneath. Otherwise, yeah, very impressive!
