I want to make that room for the next detailing contest :D

We need someone to make that simulated-wood texture. Who was it who put shiny, '70s-style wood flooring in their artpass map? We need, like, that texture minus the slats being different colors.

I think that could easily be done by adding some reflectivity to the existing faux wood textures.

I don't think that the TF2 one is as bold as the one above. But they might be in the same font.

The white posts look too white; I thought it was just AO bake when I first saw the image.

mailboxes.jpg

Thread saved by Equinoxo, Boylee and I.

Is that normal mapping I see on the lid? :O

Also, I would recommend modifying the envelopes from having a static thickness to tapering to an edge, so they look more like real paper stuffed with other papers. Right now they look more like plastic tiles.

Bermuda Cake is right. They just look full.

Sometimes I feel like there's a lot of nitpicking done here for the sake of making a comment.

Yeah still working on the posts, they don't actually look quite so bland in HLMV it's just the angle in those shots. I will make them a bit more varied though.

Nope, just some clever texturing. ;)
Not sure I could justify a normal map for such a small detail prop.

Also, very nice Rexy, is that a custom intel model by any chance?

I'd have to agree with yyler here; it doesn't seem like intel to me.
