Hammer has been an inconsistent dipwad about where the sky_camera needs to be in order for my 3D skybox to line up. After around 16 attempts (I was counting, but lost count around 7 or 8), I finally got it to line up. Took 90 minutes though.
I'm thinking about closing off the spillways and removing the flowing water, unless anyone can suggest a way to add some splash-effects around the base of the waterfalls. I tried particle effects, but they don't work too well in the skybox.
^ I've always been afraid that messing with my graphics settings might permanently break my particle effects - I already have to go through a convoluted process on my standard settings to get them to appear for some reason, and I don't want to lose that, since there was a time when I was unable to get them at all - but lo and behold, my convoluted process still worked with the AA turned up! :O
And so, here are some screens with AA turned up to 4x:
damn, you have some crazy AA going on, that shit is smooooooothed out. Lol. If I may ask, what graphics drivers/programs are you using to get those results. they seem quite excessive, but might look great from afar.
I'm not actually sure what my graphics drivers are. Nothing really fancy I'm sure, my card's just the basic ATI Radeon X1270 which is build directly into the motherboard (so no possibility to upgrade ). I haven't got anything custom or high-end, so it's all the default of whatever comes with that.
As a tip: it's my understanding that the tassel being on the right side of the hat means that the wearer hasn't yet graduated. Not sure why that is, but it is. Of course you could know that and be using it as a subtle joke, but still, just in case...
Is it standard what color tassels refer to what degrees? Because at my school there was a thing. Extra credit if there is, you can find out what the one is for Engineering, it's not red or blue, and you use it.
