Unofficial Portal: Prelude

I heard from a scout in-game about a map pack he was excited to see released soon. Curious since we're in level development, the crew at www.PortalPrelude.com has gone and not just made another level, but a whole new fan story for game, involving times before GlaDOS was introduced.

I'm more over curious more about the story, voice acting, and how well they kept with Valve's humor.

Is this even allowed? I know people are allowed to make mods, but normally it's only off of the basic hl2 engine, and not affiliated with the official HL storyline.

:laugh: of course it's allowed, valve think its great. I'm pretty sure they've spoken to someone at valve and have recieved their thumbs up, valve are pretty cool about making mods, since they provide the mod tools after all.....

as far as I can remember, it strays far from the 'test chamber' layout of the original portal
