To clarify: posting a link in this thread is NOT a requirement to get a medal. If it was, it would be clearly outlined in the rules.

I still dont know how to make the texture blend.

First, it needs to be a texture that can be blended. Filtering "blend" should get you just about all of them. Then you can just use the Paint Alpha tool on the displacements tab to alter the texture in a near identical fashion to the Paint Geometry tool. Left mouse button fills in with texture2, Right mouse puts in texture1 (which is what default shows). Clicking Invert Alpha does just that, flipping the values of the two textures.

This was my first jam, and my gosh, I just had the time of my life. I discovered how good I was at making gmod posters, and just saw other people's creations too, I enjoyed every bit of this jam. I just have to say, I loved my first jam, and hope to participate in another!

I found that I didn't name map file isn't properly, its labeled as "pl_breakwater" when it should be "pl_breakwater_a1" will that disqualify my maps entree for the jam?

(I'm not sure if this post is too late and weather or not I should change the file name now)

Of course, but you still need a blend texture [material], whether you make it yourself or not.

Can I post updates to my map outside of the event? I mean, you can count it in its 72h version or however it works, but I'm going to continue updating this map. Or I should publish it as a separate download after the event ends?
