Nice to see them addressing highpass' optimization, which was just a total mess as I could barely play on it. And after a month of waiting, they finally nerfed the phlog; we can all rejoice.

ok so what is the phlog now...

300 damage to charge
Invulnerable while activating
Boost lasts 10 seconds but that includes the taunt, so how long is that?
Crits? Minicrits?
Someone said damage resistance too once?

What even is this weapon!?

Eh, looks like the Phlog can be used like it was before tough break. You'd hang back and deal chip damage, and then flank and rush in with crits.

IMO they should switch the speed boosts the current degreaser grants.

Glad I run stock now instead of phlog or degreaser. It's the only flamethrower that will never get nerfed.
It and the Backburner are the only useful flamethrowers out there. The Degreaser serves no purpose after Tough Break and the Phlog's whole concept is borked.

But hey, try telling Valve that. They're too busy with worthless fugly weapon skins and irrelevant side projects while also only listening to the lowest common dominator.
