So as long as we request the STV when we submit a map, will all of the demos be recorded and put to the feedback site automatically?

Well, I'd appreciate the cp_parapet demo from the (Europe) March 4th playtest since that gameday doesn't show up in the event list....but were they lost when the server purged?

Since there hasn't been a major announcement, and I've only really heard this from within a game-day, there's apparently been a issue with pulling files from the FTP of the server. In brief: no demos.

It would be nice if we could get a public statement on this that's not just side remarks in chat or on gamedays, maybe even a change to the copy/pasted gameday threads. Hopefully with some sortof date for when this would be fixed.

We are currently NOT recording Demos. I have heard word that Geit might be setting up a way to use replays. Since we are recording replays, we can -not- record demos. After this contest is up, I'll ask around and find out what we are going to do for demos.

Call me old fashioned but wouldn't it be more productive to continue recording STV demos before changing over; especially since the contest is in it's last week?

Why is STV off? It shouldn't be. I thought we agreed that until Geit finds away to make the Replay function stable on our server we'd continue to provide STV.

We've had a number of FTP issues but we've changed one of our servers (again) so that should be resolved.

Which server? If it was US then no demo was recorded.

I remember playing it on the EU 2 or 3 days ago though, that demo should be available. Unless it was a gameday and you already have it.
