Sharpshooting. But not as we know it.

Have any of you ever gone on the battlements on 2fort, or any other map, and used the ambasadoor to sharpshoot everyone, I know i have.

Though the trick is to shoot snipers in the body once, so that they are less likely to run back to spawn for health. Then headshot them after to get the kill. Head shotting people first usually scares them away.

A headshot kills them, Id like to see them run away after that.

ambassador headshot does 100 damage, snipers have 125hp. A headshot wont kill them unless they are already damaged by spam/other snipers. Hence the need to put a bullet into their body first do trim the ~25hp off before getting the headshot kill.

headshotting first takes their health from 125 to ~25 and so they will probably run for health, whilst if they only took ~25 they'll probably stick around a bit longer.

When I'm dominating the enemy snipers and get bored, I go out with the Ambassador and Dead Ringer.

If you do it right, you can drop the DR, fire, and bring it back up during the time they're reloading. It pisses 'em off because even if they "kill" you the spawn is nearby so you're back quickly, but you can knock off a decisive 102 hp from them so they can't just ignore you...
