here's a net of the four sides and the top (kinda pointless to show the bottom, it's a purple square). It's basically a splice of sky_night_01 (plr_pipeline) and sky_gravel_01 (cp_gravelpit) but with a couple of modifications (no factories in the distance, I thought that would kinda ruin your islands thing

...and here's what it looks like ingame, aiming almost straight up with pipeline's light_environment.
It annoys me because I compiled it again, but with pipeline's skybox (no other settings changed) and that appeared to be perfectly normal, even though their respective VMTs and VTFs are almost identical.
If you want some changes like more clouds or whatever then I'd be happy to edit it further.
EDIT: Mind you these problems only occur during an HDR compile. It works nicely on a normal compile
