I created a player clip, and used a displacement with a power of 4 to create some hills outside the player clip. I also have a few prop_statics inside the player clip, and a building made via the block tool. Also, I placed a few prop_static trees outside the player clip. However, when I ran the map,
1. The prop_statics inside the player clip were non existent, (they were invisible and I was able to walk through them)
2. Some, but not all of the trees were invisible also
3. The player clip seemed to not work at all.
4. The only problem the compile window had was that a displacement of power 4, "used too much CPU and ram and more was needed."
Any insights, suggestions, or fixes would help me, I've been mapping for only about a week, and I'm still rusty! Thanks.
