Hmm.. am I the only one who actually felt sorry for Wheatley at the end?

I did not feel sorry for him. I kinda wish he'd just been dropped into an incinerator.

I think that itch is the cause of the entire portal story line

That core needs its own cutscene.

I found the development of portal technology as far back as the '50s more than a little hard to swallow, which is funny because I loved Bioshock. In fact, that whole section had kind of a Bioshock vibe to it, between the setting and the liberal use of prerecorded messages to give backstory.

I think I might have a problem. It's the Half-Life 2 paint can all over again.

Finished both the coop and single player yesterday... so badly want to play again just to find all the little things.

Also I can't wait to tear into the SDK. Any word on a date for release?

Walkin' in a winter wonderland!

I felt kinda sorry for wheatley. He never struck me as evil, just... angry, and confused, and corrupt, and not greatly bright. His first raeg was all based on how, all his life he'd been pushed around, and now he had the chance to get back at his enemy.

I was really sad when he turned bad. I really liked him. I did feel sorry for him at the end, at least the very final cutscene.

Other thoughts:

Anyone else notice the nonsolid-for-no-reason-and-probably-by-accident desks in the one office? How about the misaligned texture on, if I'm not mistaken, all of the staircases between test chambers?

When those turrets started singing, I thought I was going to get treated to a chorus of turrets singing the end credits song, so the real one ended up being kind of a letdown.

How long do you think until some modder makes that "fighting an army of mantis men" into a reality?

Am I the only one who got super-excited when the commentary mentioned worldportals being added to the engine

I want to make hyper-spacial side routes in tf2 maps

also the end credits song in portal 2 was great
