Payload RollBack

    Hi,

    I'm just popping in on these forums as i feel you guys can help me,

    i'm currently making a pl_lazytown mod using a tug-o-war prefab, and i was wondering with the ramps on either side of the middle point, how do i add the rollback effect like that seen on pipeline, i have searched the forum and found this

    but i'm not sure if that will help me, but if it does help me can anyone help me out with what to do,

    I hope you have permission from the map author to do this.

    P.S. As far as i'm aware rollback is a feature for plr. You could probably manually simulate it (horribly) in pl. But don't quote me on this as i havn't really touched plr, so i'm not sure on the (if there are any) differing functions etc. I just know people have tried to move the HUD over from plr to pl because a lot of people prefer it's slick look, but ultimately failed; and the HUD is annoyingly tied in with a lot of the game entities.

    thanks for your prompt reply,

    I have been helping a clan out designing the map and they asked the author if we could mod it, to which the author said yes

    anyways i'm not going to bother trying to create a custom one as i ain't the most advanced person at SDK mapping :p,

    It's possible, just look in the PLR prefab and the onpasses, rollback works by one onpass enabling rollback, another disabling it, and in between logic works that if the cart isn't being pushed, it is set to a negative speed. There's no PLR-specific rollback entity or system.

    However, there's no way to indicate rollback zones on the normal PL HUD.
