What do you guys think of this? Supposed to be one of those oil drums that hobos use for fires. Figured it's relevant enough to cold weather, and it could be used for a lot of other themes. Still pretty tri-heavy, I'll take it down once I finish some stuff up with it. Currently in the middle of a 72 hour map contest worth of school work(Same sleep schedule just nowhere near as fun) so I'll get back to working on things sometime this weekend.

Just a screenshot from Blender, not HLMV. Also, not too knowledgeable about mapping, should I add an attachment point for particles or are those placed in Hammer?
An attatchment point is really only nessecary if it's a really small model (like the lantern) but there's usually no harm in adding one.
Is it in the scale of the 2fort oil drum or the gorge toxic barrel? I assume the barrel, but it's hard to tell.
And in either case, an edit of the existing barrel might be a better idea than a totally new prop. Just, you know, in case someone ever wanted to have them in the same scene.

Doesn't the swamp pack already have an open edit of the original oil drum and corresponding fire particle for it?
Snow seems kinda weird on this one. A normal map oughta do it some good.

I'll take that high-res model anytime over that low res... thing.
You do know thats hammer, right? And what do you need that many pixels for anyways? Most people won't even know it has that many in the first place.
