My Arrows Are Boring - looking for help

Hi Guys!

When we play tested animatter a few of you said that the arrows that pointed towards where the cart is looked ugly and needed to be changed, well, I'm trying to change it but it still looks ugly.

Maybe I'm going about it wrong and need to re-think my approach - how would you guys go about creating a cool looking arrow for s space station themed map?

Currently it's a func_brush that looks like an arrow that points to where the cart is.

Any ideas?

Maybe make it translucent, like a floating hologram?

In a space-themed section that I did for the map libs project, I used one of the Hydro arrow signs, although I like the idea of floating hologram arrows more if you can get that working.

My autumnal pack does have holograms already made, though they're only textures so you may probably enjoy Ethan's 3D arrows more (I know I'd probably use a 3D model over a 2D counterpart)

Thanks for this :) I'm having trouble setting it up - where do I put it so hammer will see it? I tried the custom folder as per the readme.txt

The full folder structure should look a bit like this:
upload_2019-4-1_21-19-1.png
Within your custom folder, you should have another folder (the exact name of this folder is unimportant), and then within that folder should be the materials, models, and sound folders.

I have it set up that way but I'm not seeing it in my hammer program.
I am running hammer via the common>teamfortress 2> bin
If I try clicking one of the hammer files see above it wants to open hammer via the sdk launcher and my only options are hl2, hl-ep1, hl-ep2 and portal
