Making Double D's house Scene Map: problem with skybox.

    That is just how the skybox is made, I believe. In most TF2 maps the horizon is almost always never visible, so most skyboxes don't really get filled out under it. I'd recommend just surrounding the area with houses or something so that you can't see the horizon

    You could try to find a skybox with horizons that are less noticeable or extend all the way to the bottom of the skybox, but skyboxes that do that aren't super common.

    Well, I've tried with 3d skybox, went well but when I looked at the map in-game...

    I've tried to swipe it off with nodraw surface, anything I knew, but without effect.

    You meant to run a map with Run VIS only: Normal?

    No, don't compile with ONLY VVIS, compile with VBSP and VVIS set to Normal. VBSP is the most essential part of the compile process and should rarely be disabled unless you know what you're doing. It converts the geometry in the VMF file into a BSP file that can be run as a map in TF2. VVIS and VRAD are additional steps that add additional data to the map file. VVIS determines visibility (what parts of the map can be seen from other parts of the map), and VRAD adds lighting.

    Same result. What I am doing wrong?
    I've been thinking about uploading the VMF file of map I've made. If something will go wrong again, uploading the map file is my last resort.

    Everything is literally mixed up for me. Mixed up.

    Unless I can ask for step by step help.
    I always run maps through Run Map window with everything set to Normal.
    Maybe it's the seperated skybox...

    I thought I could make well those 3d Skyboxes. I've only learned how to make the 2d skyboxes.
    I got also the Day Variant of the map, which is almost completed, through I thought about adding there 3d skybox too.
