hello, im trying to make a koth map and im adding lights to some places in the map and they wont appear in game, aside from one single spot light above the control point. Ive been trying for hours to fix this but nothing seems to be working. Is there any way to fix it?

Firstly, try typing "mat_fullbright 0" in the tf2 console. If that works, then great!

However, if that doesn't work, check for any leaks by clicking "map" in the top left then "load pointfile". It will show you where there are leaks if any. Once fixed, and you recompile, your map should be lit up by the light entities you've placed.

none of those worked. i tried the 'load pointfile' and theres no .lin files in the map folder or anywhere, also this weird red squiggle appeared after i ran the pointfile, theres also a 'vrad.dll.dll' missing every time i compile the map

the "weird red squiggle" you are talking about is what points you to a leak

and to close a leak you have to close up the black hole with a brush

but not a brush entity, or an entity, or displacements, etc.
